And donβt get me started on the βhow did we do?β surveys. Just let me buy the stupid thing and be done with it.

You say this after cutting WAGE by 80%. Sometimes your hypocrisy is so blatant. Actions speak louder than words and your words are hollow.
Itβs about diverting attention from making the rich richer and destroying social services like health and education to do it. It is diverting attention from the ecological disaster of oil (and coal) and the possibility of renewable energy. It is about making sure no one thinks about a better world.
The Silk Road spice mix in the recipe is good. Theyβre a good spice store in Calgary. (No affiliation) and they do mail orders.
Really tasty. Iβll add the recipe, next comment
Verdict? Thumbs up. Maybe slightly more dense than I wanted, but really tasty.
I am ten minutes away from putting my first ever #HotCrossBuns in the oven. My bread skills are questionable.
According to the Costco magazine (a definitive source if there ever was one) early versions of the Easter Bunny used to judge the children to see if they get treats, just like Santa. #JudgyEasterBunny

Easy for me. Iβve never used it.
Iβll post this article one last time today. There are alternatives to - waves arms around - all of THIS. It really is heartening. www.theguardian.com/environment/...
$50 billion could do a lot to feed hungry people, provide public healthcare, mitigate climate change, clean the air in public placesβ¦. Iβm just going to drop this article all day. www.theguardian.com/environment/...
I wish this was the headline of every news outlet. Butβoh rightβthey are owned by the ultra rich. All I can do is drop it here. So here it is. www.theguardian.com/environment/...
Itβs totally messed up. This was a good change from the usual. www.theguardian.com/environment/...
25 little pots of soil inside drip trays and under grow lights. I planted βMany Millionsβ cherry tomato seeds this year. I donβt have a long enough growing season or enough warmth to reliably grow any bigger tomatoes. These have done well in the past. Fingers crossed.
I just planted my tomato seeds and set them up under the lights. I had a an encouraging talk with them and promised they would go outside in about six weeks. Here we grow! Gardening is so optimistic.

Ornamental cherry in bloom on road side with red car in foreground and a telephone poll from the boulevard running vertically through the tree as well as wires running horizontally through the top of the tree.
Tree of the day: ornamental cherry tree in bloom, seemingly unbothered by the telephone poll and wires that are too near. A lesson about how we can grow through complications or maybe I just see what I want to see.
Riding my bike instead of driving a car to do my part to mitigate climate change seems pretty ridiculous given *waves arms around* all of this. But Iβll keep doing it anyway. Sigh.
Cherry plum tree covered in white blooms. Itβs kind of flat, or disc like, because the tree branches have grown out but not that high.
Part of a Cherry plum tree covered in white blooms.
White blooms on a cherry plum tree closer up.
Tree of the day: a lovely cherry plum in bloom.
Children are poor because their families are poor. #UBI now.
This is the assignment. Prove to the rest of Canada, that we really can be better and stronger and more inclusive and that our diversity is our strength. So much is in your power to do. Do it. Stop wasting time. We donβt have any left.
You donβt have to be perfect to call out the worst racism and homophobia. Absolutely not. But actions speak louder than words, and there are actions that need to be taken, actions that you and your government could take, to advance human rights, to advance a sense of belonging for all people of BC.
Yes. Correct. AND examine your own partyβs actions now. In what ways are you endangering, or threatening to endanger, the rights of the people of BC? It doesnβt have to be this way. @davidebybc.bsky.social
