Aida returned home inspired, with several key insights:

β¨ Document psychosocial work to strengthen impact
Aida shared her psychosocial approach to palliative care at QECH in Malawi, contributing to an important global conversation.
She also connected with professionals from around the world, learning from their approaches to child life and palliative care

The Forum also highlighted the importance of publicβprivate partnerships to expand diagnostic capacity nationwide β a vital step toward earlier detection and better outcomes.
A key theme was the need for one national cancer registry, strengthened by digital tools to improve data quality and support better research and planning.
The Ministry of Health Ghana renewed its commitment to a 5-Year National Cancer Roadmap and expanded financial support for diagnosis and treatment.
At the National Cancer Forum this week, our Ghana team joined partners determined to improve cancer care for children and families. The sense of shared purpose in the room was powerful. π¬π
