We also welcome the fact that the target of anti-Muslim hostility within the definition is correctly identified as Muslims themselves, and those perceived to be Muslims โ not the religion or institution of Islam. Such clarity is particularly vital to uphold the rights of former Muslims.
I think we've got to the right place on this: protecting individuals whilst maintaining freedom to criticise beliefs and ideas.
Brilliant course, opened my mind and gave me a different perspective on Humanismโฆalthough I still only score 72% Humanist in the quiz on their website ๐
I do think however the Government, having gone down this route, have got the balance right. It is not so much carving out special protections for the religion which would be wrong but giving protection for those who may or may not practice the religion and I see nothing wrong in that

Who think they can photograph others without their permission. I find it extremely rude, an invasion of privacy and just about the most โunbritishโ thing you can do
Into their privacy and he was basically saying โyou are in Britain now mate, British rules applyโ Excuse me, if anyone tried to covertly photograph or film me without my permission I would bite back and if they didnโt like it I would smash their camera. One of my biggest bugbears is people
