Okay so I am terrible at keeping up with things here, but better late than never, right? 🤣 I was at GHMX last weekend, entered some of my minis into their mini competition, and of the three categories I entered, I won gold in all three :3 I was both surprised and delighted at these results! :D
Don't put down your own work. Plenty of people want to devalue you and the things you Make. Don't help them do it.
Some advice from a couple of years ago that I still think most creative people need to hear --

Just finished my latest commission, this lil guy - Miyamoto, Ronin Kitsune! I really enjoyed doing the snowy woodland base especially. XD Let me know what you think!

Anyone else have problems trying to post photos to bsky from their phones? I've tried multiple times and the post never goes through, but it also doesn't give me any kind of error message. Is there some kinda image size limit or something?

Here's a couple of my WIPs atm! The lightning for the dragon's base still needs some refining, but overall I'm quite pleased with how it's turning out. I'm also pleased with the tweaks I made to the gryphon model to get this specific head/reins to work with this rider. lmk what you think! :D

Planning on adding a scratch-built tail to my heldrake! The joint between neck and body has also been mildly articulated, but I don't think I'll bother doing so with any of the limbs. They'll get glued in after painting (if i ever get that far! 🤣)

Assembling a Heldrake for myself, decided to attempt articulating the head a bit! Drilled a couple of holes, carved a connecting piece out of sprue, and it works quite nicely! Reasonable range of motion and it also lets me extend/retract the head a bit. Gonna make painting easier!
Good to hear it didn't hit you much! It basically didn't hit where I am at all XD plenty of rain yeah, but we got more wind on Thursday than we did yesterday/overnight. Power is fine and internet is now stable again, thankfully!
