The billionaire class wants to decimate the white collar workforce. Because white collar workers are expensive. And because white collar workers—who historically sided with billionaires—are questioning that alliance. Which makes their knowledge and resources a huge threat to billionaire power.

Women in VA05 deserve access to choice and care. Period.

Tenaska is looking to build plants that will negatively impact air quality. McGuire has been an advocate for data centers and power plants, so it’s no surprise Tenaska is one of his biggest donors.
I stand with our rural communities instead of corporate PACs, and I’ll keep doing that in Congress.

Great to spend the evening marching through Cville’s Prospect Ave. community in honor of MLK. Dr. King’s legacy weaves through our neighborhoods—he fought for a country free from redlining, block-busting, and “need not apply” signs. While the tactics may be different, his work is far from over.

I can confidently say McGuire's new “housing affordability” bill makes it easier for the rich to get richer instead of for working families to buy homes.
I know how to do the hard work to make housing affordable, and its not more tax loopholes.

On my second ship, I broke my back, and I’ve been having a flare up that's kept me pretty horizontal this week. Without affordable and accessible coverage, this would be a career ending injury. Big healthcare insurers are screwing taxpayers out of billions—I want Americans to stop paying vultures.
I ran for local office because Albemarle county was facing a housing crisis, and now I’m running for Congress because our country is facing an economic crisis. We’re not going to fix this until we start listening to working people and have representatives who really understand income inequality.

🧵1/2: My first memory of politics was going to the polls with my mom in my rural community as 80% of the state voted to ban same sex marriage. Unfortunately these laws are still on the books. Today, our State Legislators gavel in a new session and take up repeal of Virginia’s same sex marriage ban.
