Walked into the work cafeteria and there was some weird squiggly puff doing circles on the floor.

I put my foot in front of it to stop it and it broke from circling and freaked out before going under the vending machines.

It was almost like I just saw a Ghibil soot sprite. 😶

Vampire Survivors updates...

I quit when they decided to make 2 battle passes per season. I miss playing with friends but I'm not gonna grind THAT much for things.

It really freed me up to do other things.

Side note: I realized too late that Vintage Story may be a metaphorical black hole for my free time.

Hot DAMN. I can just vibe in that game for hours and I'm still not much past Copper Age level technology!

Picked up Vintage Story after seeing an inkling of the survival stuff you can do in it. Very much my vibe.

Gonna try out Hytale next week.

Went to Seattle to experience a new city as a Christmas present to myself.

Man. Looking back at my own feelings for the Game Awards this year and I think I'm done watching any more of them.

I was hoping to celebrate video game creators but instead was met with mostly 3 hours of commercials.

Last night's stream of Castlevania III reminded me that while I'm thankful for the NES games providing good bones for the series, HOT DAMN am I glad they learned from those early works.

Depends on the contract but yes, they can. Now, is that amount appropriate for the amount of work they did? That's a different matter but still important.
