Interesting - I'll be there in April!
I'm so sad about this! ๐ญ Truly one of a kind!
I hear you. Torn between wanting to be informed and wanting to protect my own peace... while acknowledging that being ABLE to do the latter is a massive privilege.
I went a few months ago (in winter as well) and absolutely loved it!! One of my fave places.
This is a terrible quality gif but โค๏ธ
(Charlie and Hurley from Lost)
I'm on here but haven't really been posting lately! I need to be more active somewhere but can't decide where is best these days. ๐
They look like they were drawn by an emo kid in 2006. ๐
Rather you than me. ๐
I've been using Affinity Photo for a while now and I really like it. Not subscription-based, either!
๐!!
Our LG is the same and it's sooo annoying. We had another LG before this one and that was great so I don't know what's happened to them!
Hahaha. Great film though!
Argh!! Glad you got back in.
People are so weird!!
Who can guess where we're off to today? ๐โ๏ธ
I thought the same thing when I saw this!
FFS again??! I'm sorry, that's so frustrating.
I still need to go there! Hoping to go back to Stockholm with Ash some time.
A river with very still water, with a cathedral standing on the opposite bank, obscured by trees apart from the two towers. The towers (and trees) are reflected perfectly in the water, along with a small red building right on the riverbank. The cathedral is framed by another tree in the foreground.
Starting from the beginning (sort of) - our first "proper" stop on our recent road trip was Durham! Somewhere we've passed through on the train countless times, and always said "we really need to stop here some time". Well we finally did, but only along the river - and look at those reflections!! ๐
Ha, yes it is! The lighting on the water & cliffs helped. ๐
View of the red and white striped Beachy Head lighthouse sitting in the water near some huge white cliffs.
Hiya! It's been a *very* busy month for us, hence the radio silence! We've been road tripping around the UK to a wedding, packing in as many places, friends & family as possible on the way. Hard to know where to start, so I'm going straight to the furthest south point of the trip - Beachy Head. ๐โค๏ธ๐ค
It's a superb place to visit! Very underrated imo.
It's not hindsight when everyone was warned of the consequences. ๐ญ
Ugh, that's so sad. A girl died there the day I went... and WHILE the search & rescue helicopters were circling overhead, people were right down by the waves taking photos!! Made me feel sick.
To be fair, the accommodation there was nowhere near as bad as I thought it would be (especially compared to Switzerland, our next trip...). But food/drink was extortionate. Still an amazing country, and there are ways to save money! Hope you have a fabulous time.
I've been tempted to get one of those...
Looking out to sea with some mountains in the background. A small lighthouse stands painted with black and white squares.
Bit of ska for your Sunday... in an unexpected form! ๐ซ This chequered lighthouse is in Port Glasgow - not somewhere most people would think about going. Goes to show anywhere can be full of surprises.
Sharing two edits as I really like the black & white, too!

I'm out of the loop! I didn't realise you were in Scotland. How long are you here for? Let me know if you fancy a drink in Edinburgh at any point. ๐
Same! I did a lot in 6 months though so I'll take a bit of a creative block, plus I've been really busy in other parts of my life. Hope you are keeping well!
What the hell now
