I lost my soul cat of 11 years. He was 4 when I adopted him, so he was already an old soul at 15, but he had tons of life left. Why did he have to get sick? Why did I have to make the decision to end his suffering? It feels like a part of myself is gone, and I don't know what to do. He was my life.
I don't know why this hurts so bad. We found this baby kitten in the middle of the road last week. Yet losing him today... losing him when it was avoidable... knowing he probably would still be here if other people had just listened... It hurts me so bad. It hurts so fucking bad.
