Banned Books - Gator Days Transcript Panel 1 Olivia and Gustopher are at the library. The Library is having a special event for books that have been banned in the past. Dora the librarian is stacking books with titles like "BOOK", "Boogers", "Tales", "Can you", "read this" and "Word". Olivia has a great interest in forbidden knowledge and has been browsing what's available. She's found a book called "Salt Box" and has an important question for the librarian. Olivia: Miss Librarian! Why was this book banned? Dora: Vulgar Language. Panel 2 Dora makes a shocked expression and holds her hands to her face. This is the only way she can express how depraved the book is. Dora: The word "butt" is used.... FIFTEEN TIMES! Panel 3 Dora looks down to the children to gather their reaction. Internally, Gustopher is wondering if Dora meant "but" with one "t" or "butt" with two. Olivia immediately assumes it's the latter. Behind them is a poster promoting banned books week. There is a cartoon book that's smiling and saying "I'm forbidden!" He's booky the banned book. He was specifically banned for being made using the darkest of magic. He's also kind of rude. Panel 4 Olivia is excited about the book. This leads Gustopher to assume that "butt" was indeed spelled with an extra "t". Olivia: Now I have to read it. Dora: Oh noooo... I'll help you check it out.

Here - Gator Days Transcript Panel 1 A much younger and smaller August is outside and staring up at the night sky. He is overwhelmed with a strong feeling existence. He might just be a small part of the world but he exists. He has a thought. "I'm here." Panel 2 August is now a teenager and is once again looking up to the night sky. He's at a point in his life where he feels stuck. He's overwhelmed with a lot of negative feelings. He continues to exist. He thinks "I'm still here." Panel 3 August is an adult now. He's now stands under the stars while holding his infant son, Gustopher. He looks up and contemplates all that's been happening in his life. He wonders how he's going to keep going. He wonders how he's going to make things work. Within all of his chaotic thoughts, one sticks out. "We're here." Panel 4 August is now older. Gustopher is older too. They're enjoying the night sky together and talking about the stars. Gustopher is happy. August is happy. Life can be difficult but there's times like this that make it all worth while. "We're still here."

Panel 1 Nate, Iris, and August are on their lunch break and discussing weekend plans. It's very important to mention that Nate is enjoying a grilled cheese sandwich that has grown cold. Iris has a questionable substance for her own lunch. She is filled with regrets at the moment. Nate: Y'all got weekend plans? I'm going to a concert. Iris: Wine tasting and a dinner party. Panel 2 August is smiling because he knows he has both the superior lunch and plans. He's eating a pepperoni pizza that's dripping with cheese. Truthfully, it's not the best pizza out there but pizza is still pizza and beats out many other lunches by default. Yes, I have put far too much thought into what everyone is having for lunch. August: I'll be playing video games and watching cartoons with my son. Panel 3 Nate and Iris stare intensely at August. In the background are two motivational posters made by someone who has a passion for graphic design. One depicts a bee and it says "BEE MOTIVATE". The other depicts a rabbit eating a mysterious substance coming from a tube that says "FOOD". The rabbit indicates that he is enjoying this by saying "YUM". The poster says "LUNCH HARD WORK HARDER. On the table is the container that Iris' meal came in. It says "MYSTERY MEAL - MEAT FLAVORED". Mystery Meal comes in multiple exciting flavors such as "VEGGIE, BEAN, PLANT, and LICORICE". Panel 4 Nate's eyes widen in jealousy. Nate: Lucky. Iris: No need to brag. August smiles. He has a lot to appreciate about life at the moment.

Panel 1 Polly isn't able to sleep. As much as she enjoys being in bed and wide awake, she decides to get up and move around a little. She is wearing one a shirt that says "FoRK FiGHT". This is one item of many that she has purchased from her favorite band. Polly (Thinking): If sleep is so important, why is it so hard to get? Panel 2 Polly notices that the kitchen light is on. Who dares disturb Polly's lack of slumber? Polly (Thinking): Is someone up? Panel 3 Polly looks into the kitchen and sees her mom, Penelope, at the table. She's got a steaming cup of something in a mug labelled "COMFORT JUICE". She's crying. Polly (Thinking): Is Mom crying? I never see her cry? Panel 4 Polly begins to walk away and contemplate what she just saw. Polly (Thinking): I get so caught up in my problems. I forget Mom has them too.

Letter: Dear Mom, I've grown a lot since you left. Panel 2 Gustopher marches forward with the stick he found. It's a pretty nice stick. It makes a cool sound when he swings it. Letter: I'm not a baby anymore. I learned to write and how to make friends without you. Panel 3 Gustopher stops at a bridge and rests his stick on the railing.
