This is a bit of an exaggeration because ST in the end was shitty and inconsistent but I just feel the two series have fundamentally different philosophies so using one to predict whatโs going to happen with the other doesnโt really work.
I think the fundamental difference between kh and stranger things in regards to whether soriku will get destroyed the way byler did is that ST explicitly asked the question โcan love defeat fear (and save the day)โ and said โNo.โ While kh has been asking that question for 20 years and saying Yes.
