Oriental darter - Wikipedia

I based him off the Oriental Darter which is not actually a cormorant (it's an Anhinga) but whatever. Look at those alulae!

He uses his leister (HA!!!) to spear fish. While out fishing once, a school of rabid Arrokuda ate out the eye and alula on his right side. Disregarding his injuries, he saw the immediate opportunity to market himself as a "pirate" to boost his store's sales. Spoke like one already, anyway.
