So this is the pattern I’m modifying (I’ve got smaller yarn and a smaller hook) I don’t think it would look too weird to have a solid row before the granny square part…

Soon be be poncho, currently a mess of long starting chain with some double crochets started (dark blue yarn on a rainbow striped bag)
None of the crochet I’ve been doing lately involved working from a starting chain, and I forgot how annoying it is when
I started this poncho 🧶
It is Very Hot but I’m fortunate to have decent air conditioning and I refuse to step outside for porch knitting until the heat index is under three digits
It works!
A red and yellow d4 with gold numbers, 2 is facing up
Knitting it is!
Alright, time to let the dice decide
1 weaving
2 knitting
3 spinning
4 crochet
I have some knitting to do, but it feels more like a weaving or a spinning day. Can’t decide which though…
The same flower and yarn, but with six more friends
They work up very fast
They’re so bright!
A small purple crochet flower sits next to a rainbow skein of yarn
New project?? 🧶 #crochet
hi to all my crochet friends on here 🥹 I have a tester call up on my instagram for my first pattern and I don’t have many followers so it’s hard to get word out, but if anyone is interested in testing here is the post and link :) www.instagram.com/reel/DKP5lxN...
From left to right: two rainbow mini skeins speckled with black; a rainbow gradient; two black skeins; a yellow/orange/red/dark red gradient
Yarn box yarn box yarn box!
From left to right: Knit circus’s The First Pride Was a Riot, Love is Love, Quoth the Raven, and Leaf Pile Leap
Left, gear spindle with green/white/brown yarn, the spindle is about a third full. Right, singles of the same fiber on a small electric eel wheel. Center, pink and white singles being plyed on a spindle, lurking in the back a finished skittles fiber turtle. Send help, that’s not even all my spinning projects
Spinning progress- while I can and have fit an entire braid on a spindle, I remembered that I really didn’t want to do that. So! Continuing on my wheel and I’ll make a chain ply ball later
No lo sé, pero si necesitas ayuda, puedo intentarlo
Shawl progress! About an inch and a half of shawl in black yarn on the needles, sitting on the book the pattern is from, The Fellowship of the Knits, the lacy parts on the ends is hard to see with it scrunched up
My unfinished April socks, in brownish green yarn, there’s a small cable detail up the side. The pattern is Earl Gray from the Yarn Harlot
Knitting 🧶 update!
Blue/purple fiber being spun into a thin single on a cross arm spindle
A not quite a foot’s length of weaving with white yarn on six weaving sticks.
Got behind on my posting but I have been up to a thing or three!
The knitting I’ll get pictures of tomorrow but have some spinning and weaving in the meantime
I hit the button before I got the alt text on, the picture shows the cast on row in black yarn sitting on a picture of a black shawl that looks like wings with a red/orange/yellow border. You Shawl Not Pass by Carissa Browning from the Fellowship of the Knits by Tanis Gray

The Emotional Support Canada Goose is ready to fly! She’s a strong bird who will take on the American Vulture. That’s their bird, right? Or is it their president 🤔 A Canada Goose will not back down. I feel safer and truly supported now. 🧶
Wings up! 🍁

Rainbow speckled fiber singles on a cross arm spindle, the first turtle is off the spindle and in a yarn bowl for safe keeping
Spinning Sunday! Working on the skittles fiber, and managed to get a decent amount done this week, I’m into the second turtle 🧶
Handspun yarn singles on a top whorl gear spindle, there’s only a couple of ounces on the spindle but it takes forever when you don’t pick it up and actually work on it, turns out
Finally done, I’ve had a spindle sized piece of fluff for what feels like forever, but finally finished it off today
A blue and silver woven belt with two D rings sewn on one end
Good news, a belt! #weaving
Thank you! I like to bounce around depending on how much brain space or energy I’ve got any given evening
The eye cowl, red and orange eyes on black
A spindle with light singles laying on fiber of the same color
A woven band in progress with dark blue, light blue and gray cotton
#wipwednesday rolls around again, have some knitting 🧶, spinning and weaving
Two finished sock, one blue one purple, the lighting is horrible please take my word
And done! Ends woven and everything
