I work at a secondhand store and it is so hard not to hoard the shiny witchy things for myself. But I need to let someone else find such treasures. And am often rewarded by my staff of raccoons bringing me things anyway.

I would start by going to a park and playing on a swing. Swing as high as you can - until all you're thinking about is the bend of the sky and the swoop toward the earth and the wind rushing past your body. Cause as kids we didn't often think beyond the moment and that is the purest human moment.

A fennic fox at a petting zoo at an event fell asleep in my arms when I was 14. I got to keep holding her until the keepers had her kennel ready. She was peopled out and must have determined that I was a safe human.

My dog has figured out that if she ignores me while I eat, she gets a bite.
That's probably a lot safer than putting the needle through a fold in my jeans...though I haven't stabbed myself twice.
I heard an employee tell another that she forgot her phone somewhere, then rush off to get it at a dead run. Seconds later I noticed the radio: "Oooohh, she's a little runaway."
