The hyphen will haunt me. There’s so much else wrong with the typesetting, but the hyphen is a sign of a diseased mind.

You can tell when an emerging social media platform is becoming established as the number of screenshots from other, older platforms decreases.

Similarly, you can tell when an established social media platform is dying as the number of screenshots from other, newer platforms increases.

It's really great that we live in a world where we give free money to people with insider information about war.

Just absolutely swell.

NAZIS DEMAND APOLOGY FROM CANADIAN

Declaring that a remark by a Toronto alderman was an insult to Germany, the German Consul here has made an official protest.

Ald. William Croft had remarked that the Civic Zoo was so dirty that it was only fit for Hitler. Mr. Croft refused to withdraw the remark, and says he will tell the Consul (Herr Kropp) to "go to Hades"

"Hitler" he adds "cannot goose step in Canada"

Herr Kroop states that his protest was ordered by the Consul-General in Ottawa on instructions from Berlin.

The Mayor (Ald Day) told the Consul that ald Croft was not speaking for the council but independent.

Mr JJ Glass a member of the Ontario legislature says "No swell headed attempt by Hitler can stifle Canadian public opinion. If Hitler did fewer disgraceful things himself he would not be insulted."
