And the whole world broke out into a spontaneous rendition of the finger-pointing chant beloved by football fans everywhere: “You don’t know what you’re doing… You don’t know what you’re doing”

So has Radio 4 been hacked? Or are we under attack? Let’s tune into the 6 o’clock news to find out….Oops can’t.
Fascinating insights from Dmytro Kuleba at @thersaorg.bsky.social tonight about #Ukraine, #Russia, #Trump, #Europe and #NATO. Really interesting stuff but it really didn’t make me feel any better about the scale of the threat we face in the West.
Interesting stuff. I think lots of us working in the third sector know this but for various reasons never quite get on to trying to solve it (difficult, takes time, probably costly etc). I wonder if anyone out there has cracked it and would be willing to share their experience?
It must be winter: 1.30pm and already my legs are this long!
It so frustrates me when everyone says, from government down, “we really truly value the third sector and we want to involve you”. But then when push comes to shove, when the important issues are discussed and the key relationships are formed, we’re kept on the sidelines. Grrrrr….
Lots of stuff we didn’t expect happened in recent years. Perhaps we don’t do enough to anticipate these events. This is a good piece on unlikely but not impossible things which might happen in 2025 - including a big volcanic eruption or the discovery of alien life

Thank you! [trying not to come across as needy!]
Hiya. Hope you’re feeling better! I’m not sure you added me in the end. Please could you do so? Ta muchly!
I’m loving
@vicderbyshire.bsky.social on @bbcnewsnight.bsky.social She totally rocks! I never thought I’d say this but I far prefer the new Newsnight format. #ChangeCanBeGoodAfterAll
Fancy seeing you here 🙂 Come here often?
I never really believed it when a colleague at one of my former workplaces would tell us that our archives were stored in a salt mine in Cheshire. Turns out he wasn’t winding us up after all!
Not if they’ve got their own secret stash in their bedroom.
I can tell Bluesky has really taken off because my effort to create a #StarterPack for *everyone who works in and around UK charities* suddenly seems a bit ambitious 😆
Onwards! 💪
Lmk if you want to join!

Ta muchly!
There’s such a good vibe about the place; let’s hope we harness and build on it and get even more good done. But meanwhile, hope you get better!!
Thanks for pulling these together. Can I join the pack please? Do you wish you hadn’t started?!
Thanks @howardlake.bsky.social for doing this. Could you add me to the CEOs list please? Thanks!
Nope, nothing scary in here at all. It’s all fine. Carry on as you were…
The significance of the bank of mum and dad is undoubtedly huge. What to do about it though, and how, is far from easy. Hmmmm…..
Now they have 🙂 @afcwimbledon1889.bsky.social
And you! Yep, all good here thanks. It was great to see your restarted newsletter the other day: welcome back!
I used to love the other place but haven’t consistently posted properly there for months and months. Let’s see if @bsky.app gets me back in gear…
