Kona cotton is not a bad material to work with sewing lolita on a budget. Lots of color choices too. Best for skirts and dresses in classic non-print styles. I don’t recommend it for blouses tho.

Old teal skirt design with star patches and ric rack trim. Very plain. Full elastic waistband.

Updated skirt. Added a border and bows over the stars for visual interest. Updated the waistband to be half elastic instead.

Bought a Ling Xiaoyu tee from NERDS Clothing. Hard to find well designed official licensed merch of my favorite franchise. I also wanted the Iijan Shop Xiaoyu shirt but the sizes are too big, L and XL, and much more pricey. 🥲

It's annoying when you are told you have a phone appointment between the hours of 10am-12pm and never get the call until HOURS LATER. First time I was totally okay with it because I had to leave the house at 4pm to get to work by 4:30pm. They called me at 4pm that day.
