It’s definitely confidence, but I feel like part of it is an act/mask too, and I live for that nuance 😁 Honestly, Val probably would’ve been satisfied just throwing the flowers and gifts in Vox’s face even if Vox didn't care back!

I love that about him! He seems resigned to the fact that their relationship might not get any deeper, but instead of giving up, he demands attention in his own sly, provocative way (even knowing Vox might not change).
