It is adaptable, so you can translate it, include other labels in phase 2, etc.

Phase 1 of the data collection with the 2DAFS (Two-Dimensional Affect and Feeling Space), a tool to collect continuous valence and arousal perception data and categorical emotion perception data. The image shows the text "How does he feel?" above a two-dimensional space, characterised by a horizontal axis x labelled ‘unpleasant’ at the left and ‘pleasant’ at the right extremity – i.e. the valence dimension – and a vertical axis y labelled ‘calm’ at the bottom and ‘agitated’ at the top extremity – i.e. the arousal dimension. The participant’s cursor, highlighted with a pink dot, can move around in the space and the projection of its position on both dimensions is highlighted with an interactive pointer on each axis – moving simultaneously with and accordingly to the participant’s cursor.

Phase 2 of the data collection with the 2DAFS (Two-Dimensional Affect and Feeling Space), a tool allowing to collect continuous valence and arousal perception data and categorical emotion perception data. All labels correspond to adjectives that describe how someone is feeling and they can all fit in the sentence “he feels …”. labels, participants can also click on either “Neutral / No emotion”, or on “Other”. The placement of these labels in the two-dimensional space (x, y) has been determined by valence and arousal ratings of words reported in previous research in English.
