Interesting. Wasn’t aware of these nuances and various implications. A faculty in my dept at UF appealed and her grant was reinstated.

Love this- I feel I’m constantly having to beat into trainees (and some faculty) the difference between theory, hypothesis and prediction. Not sure why this is such a hard distinction. Basic logic. Sigh!
