a fanart of princess zelda from tears of the kingdom, as well as of her dragon form. the art depicts the moment of her transformation after swallowing her secret stone. it would have made a cool zelda themed tattoo but i already got one.

I strongly encourage readers of indie queer and especially trans books to start using itchio as more of us authors move away from Amazon. Authors get a bigger cut, you can tip, and, most importantly, you will actually own your ebooks instead of just licensing them from Amazon.
Star Trek Deep Space Nine scene. We're at a DS9 fancy party of some sort with lots of folks milling about and having drinks and hors d'oeuvres served amongst flowers and decorations. We see Starfleet in dress uniforms and some Romulan folk with pointy ears and eyebrow loaf among the distinguished guests. Here, across 3 screenshots we see a #networking chat between Dr Bashir and a stuffy Romulan fella. Picture one is Bashir, greeting stuffy guy. Closed caption reads, "Well, it's a pleasure to meet you." Picture two is on the tall Romulan fella. He seems smug, stern, and generally unimpressed. Caption reads, "Why?" Picture three is back on Bashir, caption reads, "Well, you've got me there."

The Stonewall Inn and The Stonewall Inn Gives Back Initiative are outraged and appalled by the recent removal of the word 'transgender' from the Stonewall National Monument page on the National Park Service website. This blatant act of erasure not only distorts the truth of our history, but it also dishonors the immense contributions of transgender individuals - especially transgender women of color - who were at the forefront of the Stonewall Riots and the broader fight for LGBTQ+ rights. The Stonewall Inn released a response to the National Parks Service removing the word transgender from the park outside of the Inn. A great reminder that we have to look after each other

"would you please put that in writing" is how you pull off insubordination without actually being insubordinate. Very useful when you are getting sketchy (whatever 'sketchy' might mean) instructions from someone who might not want to take responsibility for it later.

This is fucking ridiculous, but nevertheless worth knowing:
I see a lot of people saying that you should be weird or uncompromising in your art, and that's all well and good, but if there's one lesson you should take from David Lynch's career, it should be to love the people around you as openly as possible.
Youβll probably see this screenshot floating around a lot but it really was wonderful to see Lynch put a scene in Twin Peaks: The Return where he has his character literally stare at the camera and say that you should either support trans people or die. I needed to hear that in 2017

Star Trek The Original Series scene. We're on ship and looking at Dr McCoy, who is sometimes referred to as "Bones" because he really loved the TV series "Bones" and never would shut up about it and so they started calling him "Bones")** McCoy here is sitting and waxing on about something in his beautiful blue uniform against a blue back wall. First he's looking up and chatting, then he's looking down seems a bit self reflective. Closed caption reads, "I'm all right. It's those stimulants. They catch up with you." **This is not true, the Bones television series aired long before McCoy was born and although it's technically possible he was a fan, there's no way to determine if this is how the nickname originated)
