Following a morning of governing body work, I am out on a dog walk ahead of meeting with a prestigious client.
Will be running workshops for the fifth and final part of their organisation’s bespoke improvement tool.
Excited to get it completed and launched!

It was a slower start to the day!
But dog walk done and now heading to a meeting re IT and marketing.

That feeling you get on the first Sunday of a half term holiday!
Occasionally, I am asked why I haven’t fully retired.
It’s feedback such as this that keeps me going….
Standards are important, as is clarity with regard to what good standards look like.
Doesn’t have to conflict with the focus on the journey of each learner.

Hi. I am Mike. In the autumn of my career now, having had a total of 18 yrs as a Head (3 schools) before working at a regional and national level in education in Wales.
These days I support schools, mainly in leadership and post inspection action.
This was being used in a school I was supporting.
