Students don’t need to go to university to use generative AI. They need critical thinking and analytical skills, the ability to understand complex ideas, to make connections and informed arguments, to cultivate creative thinking and develop original ideas. And yes it is hard work. The rest is SLOP

This Belfast Trans Pride weekend, we reiterate our absolute solidarity with Belfast’s trans, non-binary and intersex communties. Judith Butler nailed it..
‘If you sacrifice a minority like trans people, you are operating within a fascist logic’.

This two-day symposium will bring together international scholars, artists, writers and activists from across, between and against disciplines, all of whom are committed to research on transness and/or Irishness, broadly conceived.
[4/8]
In addition, this symposium furthers the inter/cross-disciplinary nature of TRAI’s work by embedding the symposium within the rich, innovative and exceptional series of events programmed by Outburst Arts alongside the Centre for Gender in Politics at Queen’s.

These exciting collaborations demonstrate the resistance of both T*RAI and trans studies to clear or unwavering geographic, political and cultural boundaries and borders.

Cynthia Enloe said "here is what you miss if you ignore womens lives."
Each conversation and panel discussion was an insightful reminder as to why we must continue to advocate, educate and learn from both the women who came before us and the future generations of feminists.
