WHY DID NO ONE tell me about this absurdly great 1978 "'Krautrock'" (tenuous connection at best but let it ride) LP? It ticks all of the boxes: mysterious electronics, primordial pulse, barely there. Up there w/ the Seesselbergs & Mentocomes TBH:

On this day in 1965, the Ornette Coleman Trio played the first of three sets over two days at The Golden Circle in Stockholm, Sweden. All three sets were recorded, and selctions from them were later issued as At The Golden Circle Stockholm Volumes One and Two.
Excellent suggestion; haven’t been there since playing the Mermaid maybe 20y ago (pre-Katrina!) & LOVED it. Perfect Winter trip.
Love Stockholm; I have a HD full of recordings from the last EMS week that I should prob. contend with before I attempt it again haha

Haha they opened a “Flagship” GC on Fulton in DTBK earlier this year so I’m sorted. Mexico is def on the list! I haven’t been back since spending a week in DF in 2014
