I’ve been a fan of Basquiat (& Warhol) since the 80s! This collab was huuuuge at the time & super amazing. Plus, boxing images😜 in the exhibit ads made a major splash -very old school vs new, even though both were pop artists. (JMB & AW also independently featured Muhammad Ali in their work)
