Ange’s ability to motivate the players, first 11, subs, fringe, non starters. It’s what we miss more than any injured player.

Is it time for him?…
It was 6-1 last week. I nearly put £100 on. Wish I had. 3-1 on betfair today.

“He finished 17th”
17th is meaningless. Ange finished 13 points clear of relegation.
13 points clear at the moment is 9th.
We landed 17th in the final two weeks as we desperately kept players fit for a final.
5th in his first season.
A trophy + cup semi in his second.
He did the job well.
They finished 12 points clear of the relegation zone.
12 points clear at the moment is 9th place.
We Dropped from 14th to 17th in the final two weeks as we desperately kept players fit for a European final.
5th in his first season.
A trophy + cup semi in his second.
He did the job well.
Yep.
They loved him.
Since I’m in my May 2025 photo roll.
Four weeks later we sacked him.
They were literally holding a flag with their gaffers face on. Then we sacked him.
Micky Van der ven hooking the goal line clearance during the europa league final.
Don’t question his attitude.
Question the reason things changed so quickly.
Yes yes yes to all of this. Sorry to jump into the thread. But I love that we can all learn, improve, remember and reignite a skill.
The talent code by Daniel Coyle is a fascinating book on the topic, looking at the science behind what happens in our brains.
To all Spurs fans. Just remember, we’re the best fans in the world and will outlast every player and staff member at the club. Things will get better, and we’ll be there no matter what. 💙 #COYS
Short term positive: Archie Gray. He was fantastic.
Long term: nothing is permanent, everything changes. And it’s often when things feel at their worst that we are most likely to change.
Change will come. And we’ll enjoy our football again.
The number of players losing their heads. The chaos on the pitch. How unprofessional we’ve been.
Is this a symptom of losing Sonny? The opposite of everything I just mentioned.
The calm captain we miss.
This is going to make winning the champions league all the funnier.
I believe (perhaps wrongly) that if Ange had Romero, VdV, Porro, Spence together and fit for the bulk of this season (as they have been) - we’d have been fine. When they were fit defensively we were sound with him.
TF’s system seemed to screw the magic up.
We are going down folks and all I can think is we fired Ange because of 17th and ripped the soul from this club with it.
#coys.
Sorry for your loss Chris. X
Get back in that fuckng stadium. Fuck off. I’m not having that.
Fed up old Spurs fan.
He’s all of us.
One of them is more painful. Much more painful.
I agree. We need a warrior on the pitch to galvanise the players. He’s the closest we’ve got.
Me; a bad man smiling and giving a thumbs-up while sitting in a large blue chair, in a clinical setting. Wearing a white hospital gown with a small, dark square pattern. I have a shaved head and a short, dark beard. The background is a plain, light-coloured wall.
Doing my best Kulusevski impression before some minor surgery.
What’s going to be more painful, surgery or Spurs v Palace?
Beautiful morning walk today. Look at that mist!
Our own hands are the biggest problem!!
The only thing keeping Spurs in the league are Spurs.
Ahhhhhh!!!!
You and me both.
Yep. But time for some luck!!
We need a goal to go in off someone’s arse, a red card to palace, and a worldy from Simmons to shake this team.
We need the luck tomorrow.
We need the crowd.
And a tonne of concentration.
😬
Words, when written, you only ever hear in homers voice.
Honestly I’m about a day away from turning up at the training ground Gazza style with a pad, my laptop, and bunch of open questions to find their inner strength!
I hope I’m wrong. But this could be a case study for the ages.
We’re not picking up any points unless something big changes.
Oh Jesus. I just watched it.
I was actually feeling quite upbeat until I clicked play. It sucked the soul out of me through the screen. God knows what’s going through their heads.
What on earth was said to them before they funeral marched out?
We’re fucked. Proper fucked.
“Memory is one of the most powerful things you have.”
“Try to remember the memories, the physical body language, the thoughts, actions, behaviours to you at your best.”
That’s it for me.
They had a fucking parade! They smashed city, we must give them the capacity to tap into them at their best.
