Congratulations!
Congratulations!
My name is Yelahneb Unicornucopiax Haley. My old name is Benjamin Alan Crume Haley, or Ben Haley for short. "Yelahneb" is Ben Haley backwards. "Unicornucopiax" is Unicorn (like me) + Cornucopia (lots of unicorn me) + X (generation? treasure? I dunno just sounded good).
Just now seeing this - score! :)

The patent schematic for the 8" floppy disk with an exploded view. PATENTED JUN 6 1972 3,668,658 Inventors: Ralph Flores, Herbert E. Thompson
A punch card aka punched card, a medium used to store digital information via the presence or absence of holes in predefined positions. The paper card displays numbers 0 through 9.
Deeper dive: IBM first sold the original 8" floppy in 1971 (I was 2 years old).
A single disk had the capacity of 3000 punch cards, and IBM adapted its punch card (in use there since 1911!) machines so that their operators could more easily make the shift from cards to disks when writing data.

#floppydisk best I can tell, the date listed on this patent is associated with its expiration rather than inception date but regardless I love the image
two images of Nikola Tesla combined - the b/w image is the original photograph, while the color image is from a magazine (GALAXSIJA) cover based on the b/w image
