At COP30 Canada just got awarded the fossil of the day — first time since 2014 (the harper years). Clear sign of how Carney’s pro fossil fuel agenda and backsliding on climate policy is being noticed internationally.

Finally arrived in Belem last night after hours on the tarmac in Miami. Most people’s luggage didn’t arrive. But then in the airport, there was this wonderful greeting on two of the walls.
For the first time in 30 years, disinformation will be on the agenda at #COP30 this week. CAPE and allies have been urging #Canada to join other climate leaders in the Global Initiative for Information Integrity on Climate Change.
