A few years ago I watched a friend realize there wasn’t just one of each dinosaur (as in, a single triceratops in history, because he’d always heard “the triceratops”) and it blew his mind. I truly don’t know why I spend fewer than 24 hours a day thinking about his face when he figured it out.
