I find Sandbox games with exploration and survival to be comforting, like No Man's Sky, Minecraft, Skyrim, plus modding is a bonus, keeps them fresh to re-explore and delve back into from time to time. Stardew is another one I enjoy when I just need something to chill on at my own pace.
