Neat thread! I'm always fascinated by stuff like that. There was a Manga artist I loved, Rumiko Takahashi, and her characters were very hard to draw. The eyes were just a *little* off from where even a normal anime eye would be. It was so hard to make it look right.

And I just realized today that that's the little slug that Ahsoka and Anakin save in the first episodes of Clone Wars.

I love love that the Classic Vinyl station on Sirius XM always plays Brain Damage and Eclipse as a set.

I was saying on here once that I was watching and the week's episode was a Monster of the Week ep and I was a little disappointed. But then Mulder and Scully had a conversation around a campfire and it was one of the best character moments of the entire season. Shows had room to breathe.

Yeah a horror game in VR? Haha. Yeah I don't think so. When my son suggested that I should play Alien: Isolation-because I was a fan of the franchise-I had to remind him that I was on blood pressure medication.

I remembered that you'd sent me a script, and I thought: "God that's gonna be awkward if it was Reunification!" But it was Insatious.
I'm not even gonna know what to do with myself when these houses are done.

That'd be great! Good luck with The Locksmith.
That does suck about AFF and Pearl Snaps. It really does come down to 'does this person jive with/is in the mood to read what you wrote?'

Macbeth, but that was my first great experience with Shakespeare. We had this awesome English teacher who brought in the play on vinyl. So she played us the dialog being acted out-not just read in the text. It was really something special. She helped us experience it.

Pitfall! One of my favorites. When I was laid off for Covid I decided to finally beat Pitfall. It took a couple weeks, but I did it. That was closure decades in the making.
