Cambridge City Council has activated SWEP from the 17-20 February, due to the predicted cold weather.

All rough sleepers will be offered accommodation regardless of recourse to public funds.

On Friday, our residents enjoyed a board game afternoon filled with fun and friendly competition. For individuals who’ve experienced homelessness, these shared moments help build confidence, grow friendships and connections, and encourage a sense of belonging. We love moments like this! 💙

After losing his mum, Phil* became homeless. With our support, he rebuilt his life, cleared £400+ in rent arrears, and is now Band A for housing - aiming for his own home this year. Good luck!

On Friday, we enjoyed a wonderful resident trip to Ely!

Although the day was chilly, the sunshine brightened our visit as we explored the Christmas market, enjoyed each other's company, and warmed up with delicious hot drinks.

On Saturday, we hosted our very first quiz night - a huge thanks to The Comrades Club in Godmanchester for running this!

We also held a raffle with prizes kindly donated by our supporters & friends at Cambridge Juice Company, DuffleCat and The Purple Spell.

Together, we raised £221. Thank you!

To get in the spirit of #BonfireNight, our allotment group celebrated with a cosy cook-out yesterday! They whipped up hearty tuna and veggie pasta, adding in some of the delicious veggies grown right at our allotment.

On Tuesday, our allotment group enjoyed a visit to Darwin Nurseries. We made the most of the autumn sunshine with a walk around the gardens, stopped for a well-earned hot drink, and even managed to spot some of the animals, including a few friendly rabbits!
