Me and the husband completed our 2025 TV project of watching the entirety of Twin Peaks. We’re starting January 1st with the debut episode of our ambitious 2026 project, Star Trek: The Next Generation!

Doing a trip to LA for my birthday, starting out with a stop at Disneyland. We got to say hi to the Fantastic Four, as well as actually see some rare new Roger Rabbit stuff. Plus a poster for King of the Hill at Disneyland was unexpected

Clooney’s portrayal of Bruce Wayne, specifically, was totally fine for the time. Good Batman, nah. Good Wayne, sure.
As an aside, would you believe me if I told you in the rebooted timeline they legitimately gave Baraka and Reptile tragic, “good guy” character arcs, they are no longer just goons but full members of the main “hero” team and they are some of the best parts of the new continuity & stay as good guys.

I did like the OutATime cookie and the Romulan Ale of the themed food. And the overlay of Quark’s Cafe was rad, with lots of little touches that even a Star Trek dilettante like myself can appreciate.
Went down to LA for a trip to Universal Studios Fan Fest with theme park pals. It was Halloween Horror Nights w/o the scares, which is great for a coward like myself.
Back to the Future, One Piece, Star Trek, Yoshi and Dungeons & Dragons were all a lot of fun. While the food that was hit or miss

We spent our Sunday morning in North Bend to celebrate us finishing our watch of the original Twin Peaks/the life of David Lynch.
Twede’s Cafe has pretty good coffee and fairly decent cherry pie (I also liked the biscuits & gravy), but really you’re there to experience this iconic filming location
After we went to RR in North Bend, we also checked out the location of the Twin Peaks sign, the bridge where Ronette walks, and the beautiful Snoqualmie Falls. We had some amazing weather today, perfect for some casual nature walks
Get in the robot, George Bailey (building a model while watching It’s A Wonderful Life in the background is very relaxing)
