Kazeir Adraxis & Da'kina Melekir are Rezavi's parents.

Both are alive and well, though Kaz's line of work with the Bregan D'aerthe often keeps him far from his family. Da'ki is a skilled guild artisan in Delselar & has built a reputation around her inherent soothsaying abilities.

Just a small note here. The only minor difference in Kaz's appearance is that his weavemark looks like this instead of the chin stripe shown in screenshots. I had to give him something in game. He looked naked without it. 😅

Predominantly, it's viridian, black gold, and merlot. I think a mix of cool and warm tones suits Rezavi quite nicely.

To some extent, yes.

There are times when I wonder if the darker elements of Rez’s backstory translate the way I intend them to. Another is his gullibility. Rezavi is immature, yet far from stupid. He just has a high susceptibility to noticing “good, before bad” in people.

Rez has an awe-inspired kind of admiration for nature. He enjoys solo adventuring as a hobby, which seamlessly blends into another.

Growing up along the rim of Chult's black jungle provided ample space for him to explore, and that wild landscape is also what captured his interest in entomology.

Rezavi is crazy about reptiles!
Albino boas, green sea turtles, and tuataras are among his favorite species.

(The tuatara is a neat little ancient creature from Northern New Zealand - which I headcanon is somewhat analogous to Chult, more specifically Thindol where Rez is natively from!)

The second one might seem a bit contradictory... It isn't though. Its not that someone might repeat something he's said, it's the act of acknowledgement in where he'll feel appreciated. Like if someone were to give him a thoughtful gift based of some noteworthy thing he's shared.

Actions over words mean more to Rezavi. Physical affection. Hold his hand, cuddle him, smooch him. (platonically or romantically) All make him feel cherished.

Genuinely listening, and remembering things he's shared about himself, are other small points he'll feel valued by.

It's an even split between an AU event and a canon one.

AU - Meeting "Anathema" only scratched the surface of what happiness meant for Rezavi. Marrying his beloved Kavira was a dream come true.

Canon - The day Bahamut restored Rez's broken connection to the weave.

His elder sister Ve'ras! Both share lots of overlapping interests. Ve might look serious, but she has a quirky sense of humor like her brother. Rez hasn't seen her in person for many years, so they stay close through magically linked journals. They often swap doodles and short silly coded messages.

Basking in the sun, silly notes from his sister, selfless acts or simply sharing some tea with a dear friend bring Rezavi a great deal of joy.
