Every day there are new sentences written that have never in the existence of mankind been written before and I think that’s beautiful
no problem. a lot of the heavy metals poisoning guidelines were made after potters started exhibiting symptoms. I feel it's really important for us to wear appropriate PPE so I try to advocate for it when I can and also deny posts in our fb group when the contents could be dangerous to handle.
There is some risk with glazes after they've been fired, but the main risk is to the potter making and handling the glaze. I try to also just get stuff that's been at least fired to cone 6, but if the potter is a real professional this is also not really an issue/they know how to do the work.
Children screaming and crying can be heard as a possible uprising is underway at the ICE Children's Concentration Camp in Dilley, TX (1/24/26).
It's obviously good that citizens with smartphones can create multiple records of these shootings and undercut propaganda and government lies about them. But I find it a little deranging that being an informed news consumer in 2026 requires watching what are essentially snuff videos in slow-mo.

The files on Öztürk, some of which previously were not available to the public, indicate further that the government relied solely on the inferences made from an op-ed she wrote for the student newspaper to carry out the revocation of her visa, her arrest, and her detention. A report of analysis on Ozturk, which was previously shown only briefly in court but discussed at length in questioning and testimony, attaches her profile on Canary Mission, and her op-ed in the Tufts Daily, which urged the university to listen to undergraduates pushing for a formal acknowledgment of Palestinian genocide, as the Globe previously reported. The newly unsealed documents also show that the report included a Tufts Daily article on the undergraduate Senate resolutions which were passed — in which Ozturk is not mentioned at all – and a post on X by an individual named Eyal Yakoby.
This was obtained because the @bostonglobe.com intervened and asked the court to unseal the records. Their reporting is here, and notes that her detention was spurred by the Canary Project and a tweet.
