Itβs our last childrenβs craft activity this morning: 10:00-11:30 and we will be making stained glass windows. Itβs been wonderful to meet so many families from all around Oxfordshire and all around the world!
Today we are making stained glass windows! Come and be inspired by the beautiful windows around the University Church. 10:00-11:30 in the chancel.
Come and visit the chancel any time from 10:00-11:30 on Wed 30th July and 4th-6th August. Each day there will be a different craft activity inspired by the beauty and history all around us at the University Church. Explore the church building and have a go at your own artistic creations.
Here are diamond-shaped tiles in the floor of @universitychurch.bsky.social remembering Richard Bradgate and his wife Elizabeth (both of whom were described by Thomas Hearne as βproud & empty of senseβ) and their infant son. More about them here: www.oxfordhistory.org.uk/doctors/apot...
