I'll push back a little there, especially with a lot of current Euro superstars. Every player is different, and guys develop at different rates
Pastrnak, Kucherov, Barkov, and Draisaitl didn't exactly fill scoresheets regularly in their first 100-150 games in the NHL

I don't think his appearance there is an indication one way or the other. It's basically a glorified photoshoot. However, I would guess he'll at least start the season in the NHL, and the team will reassess after nine games
