This #BlackHistoryMonth may be the most consequential of our lifetime. At a time when:
• free speech feels fragile
• DEI is under attack
• Black unemployment remains stubborn
• and the teaching of history is contested
We remember: progress never comes from silence. It comes from speaking up!

We mourn the passing of Rev. Jesse Jackson, Sr.

A pastor, patriot, and presidential candidate, Rev. Jackson challenged America to live up to its highest ideals.

As we approach America’s 250th anniversary, we remember that freedom is strengthened by those willing to demand its expansion.

Rev. Jesse Jackson, Sr. did not wait for permission to lead.

He built coalitions.
He challenged institutions.
He widened the American tent.

History is rarely linear. It is built by those willing to go first.

Thank you, Reverend. May angels sing thee to thy rest.

On this day in 1865, the 13th Amendment was passed by Congress under President Lincoln's stewardship.

It reminds us:

Freedom is not inherited.
It is built. Protected. Renewed.

Every. Single. Generation.

That’s the work of America 250.
That’s the work of all of us.
