These are the smartest kids on earth. They're winners. This is the true Art of the Deal. They let Trump write books about business and he lost money on gambling. Is it wrong to open a lemonade stand next to a construction site? It is not. Supply and demand baby. Get. That. Paper.

I'm still amazed we were able to get @attackerman.bsky.social on the Engadget Podcast to break down Anthropic's DOD fight, and the role of AI in warfare today www.engadget.com/gaming/xbox/...

When The War Goes AI, The Data Centers Will Be Targets (f/Engadget's Devindra Hardawar)
We talk Anthropic, OpenAI, Iran and the mil-tech oligarchy. Children will be sent to protect data centers the way their fathers were sent to protect oil fields
One of the things the Iran War is clarifying is that AI integration into the military will mean that your children will be sent to war in the Middle East to protect the data centers of the Gulf and Israel.
Also, here’s a podcast episode where I talk AI, Anthropic & Iran with @devindra.bsky.social:

The Sound of 62 Percent of New York City Voters Chanting 'Tax the Rich'
Maybe we’re going to tax the rich? And why did the NYPD commissioner hang out with someone who repeatedly demeans Muslims and Black women?
"54 percent of New York state voters, and 62 percent of New York City voters, want the governor and legislature to go along with [Mamdani's] plan to tax the rich. ...[W]ill Hochul really fight like hell against the legislature and the... mayor... to preserve the wealth of New York City's richest?"

HEGSETH: *whiskey belch* We’re too smart to do forever wars. Anyway we’re just gonna keep bombing
RATCLIFFE: I got us a great deal. We can rent an army on the ground that can take the fight to the mullahs. All it will cost is like 10-15 years of a no-fly zone

For years on my old blog I published the names of servicemembers who died in Iraq & Afghanistan. No other outlets were.
These are the first 4 Americans to die in the Iran War.
Capt. Cody A. Khork, 35
Sgt. 1st Class Noah L. Tietjens, 42
Sgt. 1st Class Nicole M. Amor, 39

Kurds see opening yet remain wary as Trump seeks help to oust Iran regime
As the US and Israel escalate strikes on Iran, Trump has opened talks with Iraqi Kurdish leaders about their potential involvement in the conflict.
Amberin Zaman, who has excellent Kurdish sources, says the Iranian Kurds want Trump to – stop me if you've heard this before – "establish a no-fly zone over the Kurdish areas to provide air cover for potential future operations and, above all, to prove its commitment."

I mean, they used the anarcho-syndicalist Kurds in Syria when they needed a ground army…
The question I have is why the Iranian Kurds wouldn’t look at the experience of Rojava and uh doubt the value of US patronage

Should we continue? Reagan supported Saddam Hussein — CIA gave him battlefield intelligence — as he used chemical weapons in the war Saddam started vs Iran. When the Iranians offered to collaborate with the US vs the Taliban, Bush put them on the Axis of Evil instead, then encircled Iran militarily

By this logic, the US has been at war with Iran since 1953, when the CIA overthrew Mohammed Mossadegh to ensure that western oil companies, and not the Iranian people, controlled Iranian oil. It’s brutal puppet the Shah tortured & killed for 25 years. That’s why they chanted DEATH TO AMERICA in 1979

From Iran to Venezuela to New York, Trump wants to control the world's oil
Forget Saudi Arabia. Trump is making America the world's most dominant petrostate.
This is a war almost 40 years in the making.
Trump said in *1987* that the US should attack "horrible, horrible" Iran, "and take over some of their oil." In the years since, Trump talked about seizing oil from Venezuela, Iraq, Syria, Kuwait, and Libya.

The War on Terror Paved the Way for Trump's Rise—Now He's Making It His Own
Only the total abolition of the DHS can restore freedom.
NEW @thenation.com: The tools of the War on Terror must be destroyed before Trump uses them to finish building his world order, at home and abroad. What we did at home yesterday is what we do in Iran today is what we will do at home tomorrow. The way we break the cycle is straightforward: abolition.
