AlTJ for making my boyfriend clean up dinner after he put peanuts in my food as a "joke" I have a peanut allergy. Not severe enough for anaphylaxis but bad enough that I get hives and my throat gets tight. My boyfriend thinks it's funny to constantly joke about how I'm "missing out" on peanut butter and makes comments about how "inconvenient" my allergy is for him.

Last night we were having stir fry. I went to grab drinks from the garage fridge and when I came back my bowl looked like it had been messed with. I stirred it around and found crushed peanuts mixed in at the bottom. I asked him what the fuck he was thinking and he said it was "just a joke" and he "only put a tiny bit" to see if I'd notice. Said he was "testing" if my allergy was real or if I was being dramatic.

I called him an asshole and went to our room. Left him with all the dishes and cleanup which I usually do. This morning he's complaining that "punished" him by making him clean up when that's normally my job. That I overreacted to a harmless prank. I'm still not talking to him. He says I'm being childish.
