We haven't even begun to rebuild, so we'll waste maybe 3 more years with this shit core of ours, then we'll start over. Draft for 3 years, then develop for 3-4 more.

Cowan, Tanev, Carlo, Knies, Maccelli. But we have this very talented, but disappointing & soft core group of players who get the lion's share of the ice time. They play well in MOST reg. seasons, & terrible every post season.

Ever wonder why we lose every post season? It ain't the 3rd/4th liners.

Matthews with 1 goal in his last 14 games. Tavares being soft as butter. Nylander only trying hard 'sometimes'. Reilly always out of position & falling down & generally being Reilly. Goalies being complete sieves.

Suck....WAY overpay whatever young stars we get......WAY overpay for some BIG NAME free agents.......NMC's for everyone......suck....fire the Coach & maybe the GM.....keep the players......suck.........raise ticket prices......suck.

Leafs will likely trade OEL, McMann & maybe even Domi today. Then they'll announce some injury & shut down Matthews for the rest of the season & the tank will be on.

And Coaches before them.....Burns, Horachek, Carlisle, Wilson, Maurice, Quinn, Murphy, Beverly, Burns, etc. They don't ALL suck.

The Coaches ain't the real problem.

At some point, the players need to be held responsible.

I grew up in northern Ontario, in Canada. I can relate.

In Toronto now, so it's way more mild and spring comes earlier. But much of Canada.........similar to you guys. But with more Hockey.

Coaching has never been the problem here. It's the super rich, super soft, super comfy with losing CORE.

We can keep firing coaches & GMs every year or two, but we're locked into Matthews, Nylander, Tavares, Knies, Reilly.....and we ain't winning shit until they are gone.
