As of Friday 5pm every separated lane was supposed to receive a primary pass. Please report completely unplowed sections to 311 and DM us.
Yes, unfortunately because they waited so long they can only clear with heavy equipment, and it takes a long time.
Plowed bike lanes?
Plowed bike lanes.
In addition to all the other work weβre doing, we are removing the snow from bike lanes as well.
See any bike lanes or anything else that needs our attention?
Submit a request to 311 and weβll get on it!
@bmorecitydot.bsky.social claims they will have primary passes complete on the separated lane network by close of business Friday.
For reference, written policy is 48 hours after a major snow event.

Stay safe out there!
Reminder that driving is not permitted without winter tires, all weather (NOT all season) tires, or chains. Stuck cars inhibit snow clearance and emergency access.
Separated bicycle facilities are plowed concurrently with the streets they are on.

2025 was the best year for our city's shared mobility program to date.
As a city, we took over 3 million rides during the year, reaching over 3.9 million miles covered on shared e-bikes and scooters. This is nearly double the rides Baltimore took in 2024!

There are so many stories in Baltimore, and weβre happy to share with you our fourth Impact Story - Mike Thomas.

Bah Humbug.
We love the Monument Lighting.
We don't love when the Baltimore Police Department ignores the maintenance of traffic guidance that specifies where to park and uses the bike lane to park VIPs.

βIf you go to the Sun Belt or the Midwest and see what theyβre achieving, itβs pretty wild how far behind we are. The Red Line should be open now. If we'd followed the 2002 plan, weβd have three or four lines open by now, and we havenβt built a single one.β - jedweeks.bikemore.net

A project shouldn't exist unless it furthers adopted city plans and complies with law.
We've flagged noncompliance months in advance of resurfacing every year.
There's enough funding and time every year to fix this problem.
Agency leadership just needs to do it.
agency just needs to fix it.
8 years after @bmorecitydot.bsky.social created their own legally mandated resurfacing standards, they're still breaking them.
Fire the TEC division staff who ignore the law.
Generate projects out of Planning division.
Require signed compliance forms before asphalt touches the ground.
