@govpritzker.illinois.gov , I was a supporter through COVID. I think you can do good things. You dropped the ball with ISP and Broadview. Bad faith is telling the national media one thing while ISP cracks skulls.

Ignoring critics and silencing truth is probably not the best way to distinguish yourself from Donald Trump.

I’d start with not sending the Illinois State Police to assault, harass, and abuse protestors. Then: not plastering yourself all over national media claiming you are fighting for us. Next: arrest violent, lawless “agents.”

No need for Trump’s ICE when the ISP becomes ICE Supplied by Pritzker.

Call it a week early. 2025 can now end, as this holiday message cannot be topped.

Is it really the “win” being claimed when the identification came in form of an Executive Order stating “No animal may be taller than the Great Me, not even a Ghislaine … damn auto-pen spellchecker … giraffe.”

I saw the same thing happen, but with the vision test. Scary.

Both of them ran to the media to get their names and faces out there for the next presidential election.

Neither one has done enough to actively protect their constituents.

Now, if we could just the Illinois State Police out of Broadview and prosecute the violent thugs who have been assaulting and abusing Illinois residents.

I wonder who has the power to initiate those things …

Another memo from Marketing and Legal:

Signage has been ordered for the new “Darwin Vetting Zoo” activities. They make it out, they don’t make it out … nature decides.

Both Marketing and Legal said the last bullet point appears to have been cut off.

If this were an actual law enforcement action by actual law enforcement officers chasing actual suspected criminals … the 3rd grade tag tactic of “made it to base” does not put a legal end to it.

I’d suggest starting by sorting the pieces into piles based on “need this”, “probably optional”, and “no clue what this is.”

Selling stuffed animals was a better idea than when you sold hungry animals last year … renaming the gift shop as a “buffet” didn’t help.

Nor should it be arbitrarily wholesale discounted as “never the answer.”

Agreed on the apathy and greed part.

I don’t disagree with that one bit. The NRA has managed to improperly dictate what the 2nd Amendment means TO THEM. There is NO right that is completely unfettered, nor, as I said before, is there any other right only effectively afforded to those who can afford it. It’s about profit, not rights.

I applaud the individuals in Portland, but I ask what has it prevented? Chicago, New Orleans, Charlotte … all would like to know.

Again, I am not saying violence is THE answer. I’m saying there is a time when it becomes an answer. “Don’t give them reason” is not sufficient. Look to history.

The same goes for teaching high school English (and trying to start a journalism program)!
