Seeing this show that they are so far behind on their messaging is insane. And it exposes them, what do you mean to advocate for $15 minimum wage? We BEEN asking for that and that shit is still too low.

The craziest part is that… absolutely no one is asking for this. I don’t know too much history, but I would guess that at least there was some American logical reason in which why we would engage in a war in the past, and thus popular. This is literally out of Trump’s ass.

The one thing that is currently in my mind: What does this (the potential US invasion to Venezuela) mean for Puerto Rico and safety? I feel like the blowback will cause catastrophic consequences for Puerto Ricans.

This sounds like any excuse. They will say anything BUT “we don’t like you having a fair amount of my money.”

The reality is a lot of people who support decent class policies have racist backgrounds and it makes me wonder how the "it's not race, it's class" progressive and leftist discourse may be part of the problem. Anyways, racial justice work needs to be central to class politics.

Feeling like you suck at everything gotta be the worst feeling in the world.

Next two weeks I will:
1) Learn Quarkus (Java Framework)
2) Finish a few tasks for one of the open-source projects
3) read Taino
4) change website’s template
5) progress in security engineer course
6) Code wars/Leetcode practice
7) Study Quantum Computing

Idk why I didn’t do this before but I was able to read more on Daredevil runs and which is recommended read, people say frank miller but I want to read others and saving the best for later (not last lol). Currently reading the Zdarsky run. Which is pretty good.

5) didn’t make much progress for quantum information studies but got some gist of it
6) Attended to several DSA meetings
7) progressing in security engineering course for my job
8) practiced Rust programming language
9) built my websites template

Making it short:
1) made progress on two open-source, not much code but getting the gist of it
2) worked on a NAS server with a friend
3) I’m halfway with foundryside book, currently liking it rn, started reading Taíno by Jose Barreiro
4) Progressed in Philadelphia reimagined story
5)…

Feel like I have been a failure at this to even start looking at the code. Does anybody else have this issue?

Just wanted to rant that it feels like I made absolutely no progress within contributing with these open source projects I have been looking forward to contribute. I seen people jumped in the first week and already had a PR, which made me feel pretty bad. Even though I have a job and life, I still 🧵

Is it really a matter IF the person is terminally online? Or is it HOW terminally online a person is? It could just be me but people are already as online as we can be. Making a space where algorithms consumes you is the root of it is. We should look at other avenues than getting rid of social media

Naw, I don’t think it’s a hot take, there’s only so much tolerance you are willing to put up with. When you have a crowd of nazis that make these assertions and you “tolerate” their hatred, there is only 2 path you can take. Go completely against it, or go completely for it.

THIS. Because they realized, subconsciously or consciously, that they are comfortable being how it is now. I think they also don’t realize that what they are comfortable with is how they are benefiting from white nationalist system. Confusing it with “normal” life. So anything against it is “crazy.”
