Been a bit but finally getting back into the art grind, W.I.P. of me attempting to draw a 16x16 sprite for every newcomer in Mario Kart World!
Currently working on a game rn for my class and man I understand why game devs will put random hidden away objects in the world. Like it's so much easier and saves time to just copy and paste an object with code you need and hiding it, rather than rewriting the code to work for a different object.
Man it’s really hard to be excited for Switch 2 when everyday on Twitter at least there’s new discourse, really sucks how one absurdly high priced game has made everyone so negative. And its like you can’t say nice or bad things about the system/games, cause people will get pissed at you either way.
I was in 5th grade still when the Switch 1 launched, gonna be 19 and done with my first college semester by the time 2 launches. I feel old man, this console has been around with me for so long. 🙃
Classes cancelled for the day so I’ve just been relaxing on the couch playing Katamari and Mario Kart with the windows open. Peak morning/afternoon, do need to work on some stuff for my writing class later though!

Obviously I’d prefer if they call em wheelchairs 100% but yea those are my guesses for why, just wanted to share my insight! Still really happy we’re getting a wheelchair game either way though.
Wheelchair user here, my guess is either in-game they’re called vehicles so they have to use that term (Nintendos very specific about that stuff) or they’re trying to not be offensive? Sounds silly Ik, but people got upset when Mario wore a sombrero so they might be trying to avoid a repeat of that.
The fact the creator didn’t even wanna make it in the first place but decided to cause Namco said they we do it no matter what makes it better. Like out of spite basically he made a perfect sequel that has the most cynically meta ass text it’s great LMAO!
Playing We Love Katamari since I beat Damacy last night, I’m not even past the intro and I can already tell why people think this is so good holy SHIT the budget increase is noticeable.
It’s crazy how despite both versions of Minecraft being the same game at its core, tonally they feel the COMPLETE opposite. Like Bedrock Edition feels SO damn corporate compared to Java Edition still maintaining the small indie game vibe despite being the biggest game ever.
