Not for a second can I believe those researchers' interactions with Epstein were stimulating in the intellectual sense.
What fascinates me is that all the interaction with prominent scientists (we can add Marc Hauser) didn't have a great effect on Epstein's depth of thinking. Whether he is talking about genetics, history, or philosophy, it's all very shallow, drunken uncle kind of reasoning.
Just added this to my WordPress site, so it's free to read.

One went away, then all went away
I wrote a blog post about our latest publication on the language output in aphasia and schizophrenia, what it can teach us about how language relates to thought (disorder), and how language can be used to track cognitive health.

I am all for it. Check out the view! Capacity be damned
New paper! To understand the relationship between language and other cognitive functions, we compared the language production of people with aphasia (primary language disorder) with that of people with schizophrenia (disorder of thought).

My god
??? I'm on your side, Matthew. All I am saying is that the big problem is that the DHS hires people like this guy and gives them the license to police and a gun.
I think there is too much focus on the agent. The shooter should either have not been hired or received better training. Getting him behind bars wouldn't solve the wider issue.

My favourite album of 2025, in no particular order:
THE FUTURE IS HERE AND EVERYTHING NEEDS TO BE DESTROYED - The Armed
Scholars - Car Seat Headrest
Blue Reminder - Hand Habits
I hope they also investigate the ocean chemtrails.
I can't say UCL is not greedy when it comes to overseas money, but this year was indeed a surprise with regards to how many students took up their offer. It may have something to do the US being so unattractive this year.

I had a good time at the Science of Aphasia conference in beautiful Copenhagen. Now it's time to start writing that paper on comprehension of Topic Fronting constructions ...
Spent some workdays at my alma mater.

This is supremely dumb. There is a serious care worker shortage & you can't win against Reform by imitating it.

It too has its share of fools, but the algorithm does not rub you in them. Reading comprehension also tends to be better.
Just got an email from the Fulbright Association. As of right now, funding has been cut off to 12,500 US citizens currently abroad and and more than 7,400 foreigner scholars and students in the United States
Believe it or not, but I completely agree with all these points and was on her side . It's just that the British press consists of many papers and not every paper attacked her.
And it seems that you can't say you found a show bizarre without being grouped with "Meghan-haters".
