Thank you
A forced display of patriotism is not a display of patriotism.
It is a display of force.

Thank you. I haven't posted on BS yet. Lol. BS. Sigh. Ok, Bsky.
I apologize for losing track of this conversation 10 months ago, but holidays seem like a good time to resume.
I don't think the people you're criticizing exist in significant numbers.
The difference hinges on how one defines "public."
I am all for publuc displays of religion. Oppose gov't displays.
Yes
ok, that clears things up a little. My experience is strictly USA secularism v. religious privilege, with the "antitheism" that worries you existing mostly in the paranoid imagination of the religious wrong. I mean right.
Cool.
Any real world examples? Like, in a free country? l'm just, I don't know anyone who actually advocates for those things. That sounds more like what religious zealots THINK we advocate. But I could be wrong.
Ok, I can see that. Could you expand on your second point? "Elimination of religious symbolism from public..."?
I find that disagreement over the word "public" is a stumblingblock.
define anti-theist, please
Oh no! Is the gun ok?
