Playing on the laptop hooked up to my tv for now just because I've been sick and need a couch for support vs my desk chair. Laptop can squeak by on low settings, which is enough to play comfortably without significant lag. Just means no screenshots because it does look crunchy at times lol

Because every nook and cranny usually has something worth the trouble! Same for NPCs. They either give you a funny line, lore, or a good tip. They're just well-crafted JRPGs that don't waste your time.
You're most welcome. I've seen your posts about it and resonated hard with my own struggles, so I wanted to at least reach out. It's tough when the world makes you feel like you're lazy for relaxing, but it's so important for our own wellbeing to do "nothing" sometimes. I'm learning that lately.
Just trying to offer what I can since I understand everything you're going through because I'm in the same boat. Taking time to find joy in between doing what you can really does make a difference. I'm by no means perfect, but we all need each other in dark times.
Definitely take time to listen to your body, fam. These feelings aren't (or at least *shouldn't be*) normal and are your body telling you something's wrong. It's so easy to fall into as an adult, doubly so if you have any kind of neurodivergence. Hang in there, and I hope you get some relaxation.
The world we live in right now is so determined to break us, and it's easy to fall into despair. I've found embracing older ways and getting offline, taking time for myself when I can, and only focusing on what I can directly influence is helping me a lot with learning how to destress.
- Cut back on news. You don't have to ignore it, but you should limit how much you consume at any one time. I only look at the news in the morning and before bed. I may miss out on things live, but I always catch up.
- Focus on actionable problems. Stressing about what you can't change is harmful.
Some suggestions I saw wgen looking into this:
- Comfort shows/movies, nostalgic games, anything easy like that makes your brain feel safe.
- Baths, showers, anything caring for your body that doesn't feel stressful.
- Naps when you're tired. Don't overextend because of guilt.

That means it's not the kind of rest. I actually had to look into this because the holidays KO'd me mentally and I kind of had a breakdown. Burnout rest is about cutting down on your mental load. Even things you enjoy, like hobbies and art, can be detrimental in burnout.
