The street plan law has a phased approach to citywide bike & bus lane networks. The 1st, to 2026, relied on boosting output w mileage benchmarks. Going forward, it imposes citywide coverage & connectivity metrics. With mileage goals lapsing, there is a case for strengthening 2nd phase requirements

It is not the government’s job to provide storage space for your private property. Cars are no different.
Roads exist to move people and goods, not to store private vehicles. Governments at all levels need to start calling out and enforcing that reality.
