The city manager's office is obfuscating these as "discussions" on "efficiencies" when the truth is they are cutting one of the few well-paying part-time jobs and massively needed services in Denton and hiding it from the people it will affect.
Denton Parks and Rec are planning on shutting down the Afterschool Program of the city. This program overwhelmingly helps the parents of our city as it is the cheapest available. The employees were notified reluctantly by admin in January and now they refuse to notify the parents.
