Adressing increased service on Shore Line East, State Senator Christine Cohen, spoke to the DOT Commissioner.

“We have to stop looking at transit as merely a subsidy and look at it as a service, with so many benefits to our citizens and communities.”

We need to pressure the Governor to listen.

It all began with our first date fifty years ago! Lots of adventures between then and now at home and abroad. NJ, WI, PA, NC, Massachusetts and now Connecticut. Kids, cats, dogs, a daughter-in-law and now a grandchild make for an ever-changing family. New joys & adventures lie ahead.

In light of Trump’s gutting environmental controls and the EPA’s fealty to the pesticide companies, MAHA is truly an empty suit. Kids dying of asthma while eating dye free cereals. Let that sink in.

I am always amazed and shocked when I see an unplowed sidewalk adjacent to one that has been plowed. Be neighborly and just keep on going! My father did half our neighborhood well into his late 80’s. It is a tradition I continue. That said, Towns should take care of sidewalks, as they do roads.

Frightening possibility. Do not discount it.

Nice start to the day
